About Aventis
Aventis is a metocean analysis platform for planning offshore operations. It helps marine, offshore-wind, and interconnector teams understand how the weather will shape a campaign, before vessels are mobilised and budgets are committed.
At its core, Aventis runs Monte Carlo simulations of a campaign against historical or forecast metocean conditions. Rather than a single deterministic schedule, it produces a probabilistic picture: P50 and P90 operable durations, expected waiting on weather per activity per parameter. So you can optimise your installation strategy.
The analysis follows recognised offshore-engineering practice, applying operability and forecast-rating alpha factors in line with DNVGL-ST-N001 so that planned weather windows reflect what a forecast can actually confirm. Metocean data can be client-provided or sourced from hindcast and reanalysis datasets, configurable per project.
Results are delivered through an interactive dashboard, so planners and decision-makers can explore durations, downtime, and sensitivity to operating limits, and plan offshore campaigns with weather risk made explicit.
